Re: boiler repair, feedback on your representative. I thought I’d let you know, I’m really pleased with the service I received from your engineer, Terry. He was punctual, professional, courteous and competent. He was also a good representative for your company. I do hope nothing breaks now!

On a more serious note, I work in communications/PR for a large, high profile engineering company and know that people only get in touch to complain. Once in a while I make a point of recognising good service and this is one time I felt it appropriate.

Central Heating replacement at 22, Morford Way, EASTCOTE. Your team completed the central heating replacement in my house on Friday last. I am writing to say that I am entirely satisfied with the work that has been done. My view, as a retired professional engineer, is that the technical quality of the installation was up to the highest of standards; the detailed work of the installation team was exemplary, and their finishing, and the subsequent cleaning up could not be faulted.

Dear Mr Cardoso,

I am writing to you, I wanted to let you know how pleased I was with the service your company provided to me on Tuesday 19th June. When I rang on Tues morning your receptionist was able to arrange an appointment for the same day and gave me a time band of 2pm – 5pm.

Your technician arrived promptly at 2pm. He carried out the repair confidently and proficiently, taking the trouble to explain to me in clear terms what he was doing and why. He also showed me the cost of the parts used in the repair from the Vokera price list. He successfully returned the boiler to working order in 1¼ hrs and it has been working perfectly ever since. Please pass on my thanks to him.
